At your next appointment for a cleaning, you may be treated by Anthony Viruet, the newest addition to the gentle dental team at Brighton Dental San Diego. He has extensive experience at California and Florida dental practices and was a dental technician for the United States Navy as well.
Anthony’s military and civilian training is a perfect match for Brighton Dental. We’re committed to choosing efficient and dependable people with excellent work ethics, pleasant chair-side manners and unmatched skills. We’re pleased to say that our practice is better now that Anthony is a part of it.
Anthony worked as a dental technician for the U.S. Navy for nearly 3 years, serving in Okinawa, Japan and Washington, D.C. He was responsible for a staff, a budget and an office while treating patients as well. After completing his time in the military, he attained additional training and increased his skill set at Concorde Career College-San Diego before working in several dental practices.
In the Navy, Anthony was more than a dental technician. He served 2 years with the distinguished United States Ceremonial Guard during which he participated in honoring fallen sailors, including 21 gun salutes at Arlington National Cemetery and the U.S. Naval Academy. He also worked with the Pentagon and the White House honoring foreign dignitaries and more.
Dental hygienists are a crucial part of any dental team because patients spend so much time with them. If you come in for a cleaning, you may see much more of your hygienist than of Dr. Woods or other members of our dental team. Hygienists are the people who make your teeth sparkle and point out problems to others on our team.
We’re proud of our diverse dental team and are pleased to welcome Anthony Viruet, a well-rounded, interesting and unique person who will help you achieve the best dental and oral health possible.
